Furzedown Rec tennis courts
News update: September 25, 2008
The 3 hard courts at Furzedown Recreation Ground will close shortly to be resurfaced. They will reopen after about 4 weeks. The surface will be all-weather artificial grass and will double as a football pitch. The exact sharing arrangement has not yet been agreed.
Furzedown is a quiet residential area between Tooting and Streatham on the borders of SW17 and SW16, close to Tooting Bec Common.
Furzedown Recreation Ground - known locally as Furzedown Rec - has a total of five public courts, 3 paid-for courts attached to Graveney School, and 2 courts that are always open and free to use.
